Bea Alonzo's physical features belie her youth. At 5-foot-7, she's taller than most actresses her age (she's only 19), which allows her to avoid the potentially awkward height disparity with her leading men - Piolo, Sam and John Lloyd.
It's this distinct combination of physicality and sensitivity, of full-bodied figure and angelic face, that has enabled her to play characters much older than she actually is.
When she was just 15, with no stars on her shoulder yet, she ably portrayed a 21-year-old lawyer in the teleserye that made her famous, Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay.
